Defense! Three-point range! Some post-up game! Some mid-range game! Some attitude! A championship ring! I've loved him since Xavier!

The bench is beginning to look respectable. Still need a legit point guard, no? Also, am I crazy for thinking Adonal Foyle would have been a better fit than Scott Pollard?

He's no Brevin Knight. In fact, he's really no point guard at all. But scoring and three-point marksmanship off the bench were glaringly absent from the roster. I won't complain.

A side-note: If Dikembe gets signed the Celtics roster would have three of my favorite non-Celtics of the past ten years. Ray Allen, KG and Dikembe are right up there alongside C-Webb (who I don't want), Boykins, Wade, Josh Howard and Michael Finley. As g well knows, I actually owned a Mutombo jersey in my youth. I love that man. Not g, Mutombo. Well, also g, of course, but did g build a hospital in the Congo? No, not yet he hasn't.
