In unfortunate news, it appears that the July 4th baskets extravaganza has probably turned into the 2-on-2 showdown, featuring Rafe, Bruce, Ben and myself. The others have various issues, as you will see.
Louis: Only available for one day.
Steven: Recovering from back surgery, status doubtful.
Sam: 'Rents are coming to him, not other way around.
Knat: Being Funk.
So we'll have endless games of me/Bruce vs. Ben/Rafe, me/Rafe vs. Ben/Bruce, and the inevitable 11-3 matchup of the sixth man B's against eternal antagonists Brucie and Rafer.
I just got back from Vietnam/Cambodia last night, I definitely have a post in me. Expect it in the next 24 hours. Sad news about the hoops. Maybe we can play with the Chilmark boys to raise our numbers.
We'll also potentially have original Angry Fish Ferol Vernon and Adam Russell to help round out squads.
Natty has a friend who is quite good. If we need him, we got him.
We'll be fine for numbers, it's the classic match-ups we'll be without. One of these days we'll get the whole band back together.
