I was in the Hamptons last weekend (call me shih-shih Shift) for a friend's party and we were driving around when one of 18 Kelly Clarkson top hits came on the radio and my friend's girlfriend blasted that shit. It was immediately followed by Nelly's "Shake Ya Tailfeather," and before I could even mutter "There's no station out here like tha..." I heard: "NANTUCKET. FALMOUTH. HYANNIS. 96.3 THE ROSE." Booyah. I then turned over to 103.7 and listened to the Sox lose to the A's, in with perfect reception. Gotta love the water (a test of the dial indicated that yes, WMVY comes through, should the Montauk-ers be lacking in "album radio.").
