The man Steven calls "the Plim" - me - has returned his Sports Column to the Internet after a year of travelling to the most remote regions of this earth to make it better. I have consulted the Maoris, Aborigines, Eskimos and Vineyarders, and their advice has only made my writing stronger. Their main advice was: "Just write the f'ing column." And so it begins anew.
It's on the New York Inquirer, or, if you prefer to do the things the hard way, nyinquirer.com. It posts every Wednesday. I'll have a political article up there tomorrow. You might be able to tell from the site which way we're leanin' (Robb, feel free to tear us a new one), and check back for more crazy-liberal fun. Somehow Bill Bryson was the first person to leave a comment for the site; this has to be a good sign, no?

A very strong debut. Though I think it's certain that Zidane is still very much a hero in France, and the Chris Webber reference was totally unecessary—but the visual of the Byner, Buckner, Webber scenario is quite a treat.
In sad news, it apparently is not the Bill Bryson.
