so infuriating. they/he (mcdaniel) called a terrible game. if you insist on throwing it, at least go under center, keep the threat of the play pass. it's just an invitation for freeney and co. to get after number 12 (who also sucked). but i mean, you can only mix it up with a draw so many times. christ, even madden knew what was up.
Very frustrating. Even more frustrating than last year - at least then we KNEW we weren't as good as the Colts. This proved nothing, except, and I'll say it, that right-the-fuck-now Manning is better than Brady. He was getting drilled and he was slinging the ball. Still, any ONE of those three tipped picks falls harmlessly to earth, and we probably win that game. What a piece-of-crap game.
On the bright side, three of the Scrodessss bros. - Smitch, LTS, and Bryan (the extra esses are for 'Sept for Stinkin' Sojo) - reunited for a few hours to take in the game. There were laughs, spills, old friends... good times had by all, right until we got killed. You never, ever leave your wingman.
Can we be serious for a second here? Kevin Faulk is to blame, all he had to do was catch that last pass and of course we would have won the game. But seriously, we didn't have Rodney, Brady threw 4 picks and we still only lost by 7.... We are the greatest team ever.
Both teams tried to give it away in the third, so I'm not walking away crowning either one of them anything. That said, I feel like the Patriots underperformed more than the Colts, and I don't see them letting that happen again in the playoffs.
